Blogging Novice

I am writing a blog as a foreign language teacher in a rural area.

I decided to start a blog as way to reflect on my profession and practice. Sometimes I regret not writing down my thoughts about experiences in the classroom, dealing with issues in education or in the world. I read articles from impactful educators that have helped me improve my practice and stay sane in the education industry. However, the great minds I follow are often located in urban areas or regions that do not necessarily relate to my community. I teach a foreign language in the rural south. I plan to write memories, reflections, experiences and short recommendations. I believe being practical is essential when giving suggestions. I hope that my blog will help someone in some way.
